Practicing Pilates is akin to coming home to your own body. No matter where you come from before your practice, it’s guaranteed you’ll feel more calibrated and restored afterwards. To work with Kim is to know that you will hear the ‘why’ behind each movement. No one is good or bad on day one, you simply walk away from each class or session having learned more about your body.
It is Kim’s life passion to share the contemporary repertoire of STOTT Pilates® with you. In working with her, you’ll receive expert, hands-on, individualized programming ideal for your body, lifestyle and goals. Proper breathing techniques, anatomical alignment, muscle activation and functional movement patterns are concepts that, in time, will feel second nature to you.
Offerings
PRIVATE SESSIONS
Private sessions include individualized programming and hands-on attention on the Pilates apparatus. Having a trained set of eyes on you and only you for a full hour is the true benefit of private sessions, where we work together towards your goals.
GROUP CLASSES & EVENTS
The most accessible form of Pilates. On the mat, it’s just you and gravity (and an occasional prop). Experience a mat Pilates class based on the STOTT Pilates method with Kim at various studio locations within Boston. In-person small group to large public events held at a local studio or event location available upon request.
ON-DEMAND WORKOUTS
Take online classes at home or on the go with Kim’s new on-demand library. Experience how contemporary exercises principles meet classical Pilates for a safe, well-rounded movement practice. Videos vary from 10-45 minutes in length and are uploaded weekly.
