Workshop: Intro to Pilates
Experience the fundamentals of Pilates in this 90-minute workshop with Kim Valentine. This class will cover the Essential Mat exercises of the STOTT Pilates method, while moving at a slow to moderate pace. With a strong focus on alignment and form, you will learn how to effectively breathe and engage your core in each movement.
The goal of this workshop is for you to walk away with a stronger understanding of Pilates and improved body awareness. Whether you are eager to dip your toes in or have been practicing Pilates for a while, this class is an opportunity to go back to basics. Suitable for all levels.

Workshop is held at Soma Yoga Center in the North End of Boston (256 Hanover St 3rd floor, Boston, MA). Parking can be validated at the Haymarket Center Garage, $3 for 3 hours.

These classes are designed to leave you feeling calibrated, connected and balanced within your entire body. We will blend breath, mobility, and strength with functional movements for a feel good, all levels class each week.
